Towards autonomous selective harvesting: A review of robot perception, robot design, motion planning and control

چکیده
This paper provides an overview of the current state-of-the-art in selective harvesting robots (SHRs) and their potential for addressing challenges global food production. SHRs have to increase productivity, reduce labor costs, minimize wastage by selectively only ripe fruits vegetables. The discusses main components SHRs, including perception, grasping, cutting, motion planning, control. It also highlights developing SHR technologies, particularly areas robot design, benefits integrating artificial intelligence soft data-driven methods enhance performance robustness systems. Finally, identifies several open research questions field need further development efforts advance technologies meet Overall, this a starting point researchers practitioners interested more field.
